The bracket pipe is followed by a compensator pipe with a stuffing box. Expansion joints are integrated into each line interval to compensate for thermal pipeline expansion due to increasing depth. This eliminates stresses from the pipe run.
These special tubes consist of two interlocking tubes with different diameters. The upper smaller pipe, which is designed to be more wear resistant, engages the lower pipe with the larger diameter. A stuffing box prevents leakage of the transported material.
