Cement requires large amounts of energy to produce. Cement plants attach great importance to energy efficiency. A variety of processes are being implemented to reduce energy consumption and CO2 generation. One approach is the low-friction conveyance of refuse-derived fuel (RDF) that reduces the energy consumption of the ventilators. The primary goal is to use the rotary kiln running time until the next planned overhaul and to avoid unplanned downtimes due to pipe clogs or line defects. Unfortunately, this cannot always be avoided and action must be taken quickly. With Esser pipelines designed to use couplings, damaged pipes and bends can be exchanged easily. WEAR RESISTANT
In addition to unhardened or hardened single-layer pipes for uncritical line sections, we offer double-walled pipe systems with a wear layer hardness from 60 to 67 HRC for critical wear points.
CENTERING PREVENTS MISALIGNMENT
The centered flange or weld collar connection prevents misalignment inside the delivery line. No edges impede the flow of conveyance or damage the granules.
COMPENSATION FOR THERMAL EXPANSION
To counteract the heat expansion of the kiln, you can install accessories such as length and angle compensators.
INDIVIDUAL PIPELINE CONFIGURATION
The pipeline components are selected and individually adapted to a wide variety of customer requirements.
SAVE ENERGY
If requested, the inside of the pipe can be sandblasted to reduce friction losses during material transport. Smooth inner surfaces reduce energy consumption and protect the ventilators.

CLEAR IDENTIFICATION
All pipe parts are clearly identifiable by age-resistant part labels. They can be exchanged at short notice by keeping the replacement pipes in stock on site. This results in shorter downtimes and higher productivity.
PIPE DESIGN ACCORDING TO EU STANDARDS
The pipe design is based on the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68 / EU for safe operation.
