Concrete High-Rise

RELIABLE, EFFICIENT, AND COST-EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS

For large construction projects, standard truck-mounted concrete pumps are often insufficient. Construction teams require a steady supply of concrete that must be pumped over long distances and to extreme heights for the duration of the project. Operating pressures up to 200 bar are often necessary, and one worn or weakened pipeline component could create a costly delay.  It is a highly hazardous and specialized business, but it is the only way that skyscrapers and mega-dams can be realized. Reliability and efficiency of the piping are crucial to keeping costs under control during the project’s construction phase. Since 1948, Esser has specialized in the development of highly wear-resistant pipes and specialty parts. We have supplied builders globally with a variety of pipe system components crucial to concrete pumping. A long history of close cooperation with the leading pump manufacturers guarantees the safety and reliability of our products. In the past decades, Esser pipes have safely delivered tons of concrete to the most hard-to-reach places on a wide variety of high-profile, large-scale construction projects around the world.

why choose ESSER TWIN PIPES

WEAR RESISTANT
Our double-walled pipe systems in the ESSER TWIN 700 and ESSER TWIN 900 series have an inner hardness of 63 - 67 HRC. The hardness is constant over the entire pipe length. This means that they wear evenly, and maintenance intervals can be better planned. The ESSER 400 and ESSER 160 product lines round off our product portfolio.
CONSTANT CONTROL
ESSER tubes are designed to the manufacturers' weight specification to avoid endangering the static loads on the machine in all positions. The operating pressure is 85 bar. Our pipes are subject to constant quality control in order to guarantee consistent performance.
ECONOMY THROUGH LONG SERVICE LIFE
The service life of our twin pipes is many times longer than that of commercially available, single-layer steel piping. Maintenance costs are reduced because service intervals are less frequent and can be planned.
CLEAR IDENTIFICATION
Our pipe parts are clearly marked and can be identified more easily. They can be exchanged at short notice by keeping the replacement pipes in stock on site. This results in shorter downtimes and higher productivity.
QUALITY ACCORDING TO STANDARD
Our pipes comply in their design and construction with the requirements of the applicable European standard DIN EN 12001:2012-11.
