ESSER TWIN 900

Two-layer pipe system for hydraulic and pneumatic conveying of highly abrasive media. The wear layer of the straight pipes have a hardness of 67 HRC. The outer pipe is pressure-bearing and protects the inner wear layer from acting torsional or bending forces. The elbows are fitted inside with a special chilled cast iron (CCI) with a hardness of 67 HRC. TWIN PIPES can be equipped with a wide variety of weld-ends or flange connections. Special pipe shapes on request. In comparison, the ESSER TWIN 900 series has a service life of 8 to 10 times that of conventional steel pipes. The 900 series is mainly used in high wear applications where high availability is required.
