The ideal hydraulic pipes for high-pressure applications
The team at ESSER is excited to launch a new series of hydraulic pipes for stationary concrete pipelines: ESSER TWIN PU.
As with all of our concrete pumping products, we put the ESSER TWIN PU product line through a battery of tests. The results were definitive and we were impressed with the durability and longevity of the pipes.
Advantages of the ESSER TWIN PU concrete pumping pipes:
High wear resistance and long service life
Our tests showed the ESSER TWIN PU hydraulic pipes far exceeded the service life of standard steel pipes and IH pipes.
Easier handling
The ESSER TWIN PU pipes had a 30% weight saving compared to a standard steel pipe with 7.1 mm wall thickness. For example, a 3m PU pipe weighs 50 kg, compared to a standard steel pipe at 72 kg.
Quick cleaning for less build-up
The ESSER TWIN PU pipes produce less build-up after cleaning the pipe, even when using difficult formulations with a high proportion of additives. Operators can easily remove remaining deposits to prevent difficulties during the next pumping.

- Diameter DN125 (5.0 in)
- 4 mm steel outer pipe for pressure resistance up to 130 bar.
- 5.4 mm polyurethane wear layer.
- Weld ends on both sides for high pressure applications
- Possible connection types are 5.0“ HD and 5.0” ZX
- Maximum permissible operating pressure 130 bar
